DAY 1, Friday: We depart New Orleans at 6:00 pm on the Mississippi Queen. DAY 2, Saturday: We arrive at Oak Alley at 8:00am. We tour the Magnificent Oak Alley plantation known as the "Grande Dame of the Great River Road" with a quarter mile canopy of giant live oak trees. DAY 3, Sunday: We arrive in lovely St. Francisville. This charming town had a large Jewish Community by the peaceful shaded cemetery - Hebrew Rest receives meticulous care from the last remaining Jewish resident of St. Francisville. We'll pass a forlorn white building - once a synagogue and church but now abandoned, on our way to Rosedown - the Queen of the Feliciana Parish Plantations. We depart at 5:00pm. DAY 4, Monday: We arrive in Natchez at 2:00pm. We disembark for our special American Jewish Heritage tour of Natchez. We will tour Temple Bnai Israel built in 1905 and home to the oldest Jewish Congregation in Mississippi (1843). We will see beautiful homes built by the Jews. We enjoy a buffet dinner on the boat at the Pilgrimage. Tonight we celebrate spring at the historic Natchez Pageant. Our steamboat sails from Natchez at 11:00 pm. DAY 5, Tuesday: We arrive in Historic Vicksburg at 8:00am. Jews have lived in Vicksburg since the early 1800s. We see the modern temple and visit Historic Anshei Chesed Cemetery adjacent to the National Military Park, and historic "BB" (B'nai Brith) club now owned by the city. We view important sites from the Siege of Vicksburg and return to our steamboat for a 1:00pm departure. DAY 6, Wednesday: Day at leisure - steamboatin' on the Mississippi. DAY 7, Thursday: We arrive in the charming and historic Helena at 8:00am, for a brief visit before we depart for our final destination - Memphis, TN at 1:00pm. DAY 8, Monday: We arrive in Memphis, TN at 9:00 am. The
