Day 1, Monday, March 17, 2008: We depart New York on our overnight flight to Lisbon.

Day 2, Tuesday, March 18, 2008: We arrive in Lisbon where we are met by our tour escort. We transfer to our hotel for check-in. This afternoon we enjoy an orientation tour of Lisbon. Welcome dinner and overnight in Lisbon.

Day 3, Wednesday, March 19, 2008: After breakfast we depart for a half-day tour of Jewish sites in Lisbon, including the Lisbon Synagogue. Afternoon at leisure to explore Lisbon. Overnight in Lisbon.

Day 4, Thursday, March 20, 2008: After breakfast we board our flight to Barcelona. Upon arrival we depart for the city center and Las Ramblas, the pedestrian mall, for our first taste of "tapas," the Spanish hors d'oeuvres buffet. We see the harbor area, Columbus Statue, the Holy Family Church designed by Gaudi, and Guell Park. We check in at our hotel. Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 5, Friday, March 21, 2008: We depart for a full day tour of Gerona, formerly a major Jewish center and home to the famous Ramban - Nachmonides. We see the Old Jewish Quarter, newly restored museum and courtyard. Tonight we enjoy Shabbat dinner together. Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 6, Saturday, March 22, 2008: Day at leisure in Barcelona. Enjoy! Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 7, Sunday, March 23, 2008: Today we fly to Granada, formerly "Granada of the Jews." Upon arrival we begin our tour, which includes the Alhambra Palace, Generalife Gardens and Old Jewish Quarter. Overnight in Granada.

Day 8, Monday, March 24, 2008: After breakfast we depart for Seville, the romantic capital of Andalucia. We visit the Cathedral Palace and Barrio de Santa Cruz, former Jewish Quarter. We enjoy dinner together and an exciting flamenco performance. Overnight in Seville.

Day 9, Tuesday, March 25, 2008: After breakfast we drive to Cordoba, home of the great Rambam, Moses Maimonides. We see the synagogue with its bronze statue of Maimonides and the cathedral, once a mosque. We have time for lunch and explore the shops of Calle de Los Judios before returning to Seville. Overnight in Seville.

Day 10, Wednesday, March 26, 2008: We depart for Madrid on the high speed AVE train. Upon arrival we enjoy a city tour of Madrid, including the Royal Palace, Retiro Park, Plaza Major, Centre de Arte' Reina Sophia to see the painting "Guernica." Overnight in Madrid.

Day 11, Thursday, March 27, 2008: We enjoy a full day tour of Toledo, once the Royal Capital of Spain and center of Jewish learning and literature. We visit the Grand Toledo Cathedral, Santa Maria La Blanca (formerly a synagogue), and the Transito Synagogue. We see the El Greco collection at Santo Thome Chapel and return to Madrid. Overnight in Madrid.

Day 12, Friday, March 28, 2008: After breakfast we depart for the Valle de los Caidos and the famous Escorial Monastery. Today we enjoy a Shabbat dinner together. Overnight in Madrid.

Day 13, Saturday, March 29, 2008: Day at leisure or join us for a walking tour of the magnificent Prado Museum. Tonight we enjoy our farewell dinner together at a local restaurant. Overnight in Madrid.

Day 14, Sunday, March 30, 2008: This morning we transfer to the airport for our return flight back to New York.
