Day 1 - Monday: Today we fly from Melbourne to Christchurch, New Zealand via Sydney. We enjoy a panoramic tour of Christchurch including the Cathedral and Town Hall, Canterbury Arts Center, Botanic Gardens and Hagley Park on the Avon River, and the International Antarctic Center. Dinner and overnight in Christchurch.

Day 2 - Tuesday: Full day Trans-Alpine experience on the express train through New Zealand's most spectacular scenery. Lunch at Arthur's Pass. Jetboat ride and sheep-shearing demonstration. Overnight in Christchurch.

Day 3 - Wednesday: We fly from Christchurch to Wellington, the capital of New Zealand. Our sightseeing tour includes Old Saint Paul's Cathedral, Norwood Rose Gardens, the National Gallery and a visit with the Wellington Hebrew Congregation at the Wellington Jewish Community Center. Overnight in Wellington.

Day 4 - Thursday: We depart for Rotorua to see the Thermal Reserves Geysers. Tonight we enjoy a Maori cultural event and dinner. Overnight Rotorua.

Day 5 - Friday: We drive from Rotorua to Auckland. We attend services at North Shore Temple Emanuel and enjoy Shabbat dinner together. Overnight in Auckland.

Day 6 - Saturday: We enjoy a day at leisure. In the evening we transfer to the airport for our flight back to New York. The memories last forever!
